Understanding the Basics: The Third Eye, Pineal Gland, and the God Seed

Before we dive into the story, let’s look at a few foundational concepts. The “third eye,” often associated with the pineal gland, is considered the center of intuition and spiritual insight in many spiritual traditions. This small gland, located deep within the brain, is believed to be a gateway to higher consciousness, bridging the physical world and our more mystical experiences. The third eye allows us to perceive things on an energetic level, seeing beyond the surface and understanding subtle vibrations and intuitive nudges.

Then, there’s the story of the “God Seed,” also known as the “Sacred Secretion.” This concept suggests that a small “seed” or divine secretion is produced monthly in the pineal gland when the moon aligns with an individual’s zodiac sign. According to esoteric beliefs, this seed can move through the body and is said to possess healing and regenerative properties, even potentially boosting spiritual awareness and insight. The catch? To preserve it, one must abstain from indulgences like alcohol, unhealthy foods, or other excesses, allowing it to complete its “journey” through the body, enhancing one’s intuitive potential.

Growing Up with a Health-Conscious Mum

Looking back, I see how much of an influence my mother’s health-conscious habits had on me. She was the sort of woman who didn’t just embrace healthy living but who truly believed in the energy of food and the impact of environment. She did yoga on her own, subtly practicing poses in quiet corners. Our home was filled with conversations about nutrition and mindful eating—no sugary cereals, no caffeinated drinks, and certainly no artificial sweeteners. If we were hungry, she’d say, “Eat an apple from the fridge or pick an orange from the tree,” steering us towards natural foods at every turn.

Fluoride was another sticking point. At school, kids lined up for the fluoride treatment, which, I have to admit, smelled amazing. But Mum wouldn’t let us take part. She had strong opinions about fluoride, convinced it wasn’t the body’s friend, especially when it came to our health. She believed it blocked natural processes and dulled sensitivity.

While I didn’t understand all her reasoning as a child, I learned to trust her instincts. We often only drank rainwater, free from chemicals, and I avoided fluoride toothpaste more often than not. Even today, I forgo the fluoride rinse at the dentist and rinse my mouth with water after every brush. My dentist says my teeth are great, so maybe Mum was onto something after all!

Intuitive Sensitivity and Becoming a Medium

I’ve always felt in tune with energies around me, sensing things that seemed to go unnoticed by others. Whether it’s my physical sensitivity, possibly heightened by fibromyalgia, or my naturally intuitive tendencies, I’ve always felt attuned on an energetic level. Being an empath may come with its own physical tolls, but it also comes with a connection to the unseen.

In my late 40s, I decided to take a mediumship course. Eight hours of video training later, I was able to connect to spirits and have done so each time I’ve tried since. It was mind-blowing! As a healthy skeptic who’d only occasionally consulted psychics, I hadn’t set out to “prove” this connection was real. But here I was, tapping into something profound and very real. It left me wondering about the state of my pineal gland—did it look different from those of friends who used fluoride toothpaste, ate heavily processed foods, or regularly consumed artificial sweeteners? Could my life choices, inspired by Mum’s health-focused approach, have kept my pineal gland more receptive?

The Pineal Gland: A Gateway to Intuition and Metaphysical Insights

The pineal gland, commonly known as the “third eye,” is thought to calcify over time due to exposure to environmental factors, particularly fluoride. Interestingly, studies show that children’s brain scans reveal a larger and more active pineal gland, which gradually shrinks with age, potentially leading to a reduction in intuitive sensitivity. Some metaphysical traditions interpret this as a natural, spiritual connection that children have but often lose over time due to lifestyle choices or exposure to certain chemicals.

If my pineal gland has remained more intact, could that explain my sensitivity and ease in learning mediumship? The God Seed concept really resonates here, suggesting that the body naturally creates a divine “secretion” or “seed” that, when preserved, can boost spiritual awareness. I went 15 years without alcohol in my mid-20s, being the “good mummy,” and I’ve had my fair share of extended celibate stretches—married and single (it’s amazing what one can endure!). Could it be that these stretches, combined with Mum’s insistence on a clean, natural diet, actually helped me stay more connected to this sacred process?

The God Seed, Tuning In, and the ‘Right Frequency’

Learning to tap into intuition and “woo-woo” practices, I discovered, is about tuning into the right frequency. The God Seed concept aligns with this, suggesting that by abstaining from certain substances or unhealthy habits, we preserve this spiritual potential within. In other words, people who feel amazing without certain indulgences may unknowingly be harnessing this “God Seed” energy.

According to metaphysical beliefs, this practice allows the body to access a higher frequency—a more attuned, spiritually connected state. Regular practice of positive habits, like eating whole foods and meditating, may keep the body receptive to this frequency. Some claim this is why those who abstain or “purify” their bodies feel a heightened sense of clarity, inner peace, and connectedness.

The Christmas Connection: God Seed and Santa Claus

Here’s where it gets even more interesting—the “God Seed” concept has a surprising connection to Christmas lore and the story of Santa Claus. Some believe Santa’s tale is actually a coded metaphor for this sacred process. In this view, the “gift” coming down the chimney represents the God Seed descending through the spine, bringing spiritual gifts and wisdom. Even Santa’s red and white suit aligns with alchemical symbols, where red represents the material world and white symbolises purity. December 25th, celebrated as Christmas, ties into this by marking the sun’s rebirth after the winter solstice—a symbolic moment of spiritual renewal. With 33 vertebrae in the spine (echoing the age of Christ’s spiritual transcendence) and a monthly cycle of alignment, the God Seed’s journey reminds us that renewal and enlightenment are gifts we each carry within.

Understanding this, I’m now able to enter a meditative, receptive state more easily, tapping into this “zone” where I can connect quickly with higher consciousness. This frequency, or inner clarity, allows me to strengthen my connection to intuition, allowing me to help others find lost things, to guide people, & act as a bridge between the living & dead by passing on the info they share with me via 'Evidential Mediumship'. Practice is a way to build this 'muscle', & get better at these things. (Like any talent)

Reflecting on the God Seed and the History of Spirituality

The God Seed story is an intriguing part of spiritual history, echoed in practices from ancient Kundalini yoga to Taoist energy work. For centuries, people have believed in nurturing this inner light, understanding that their connection to spiritual insight depended on maintaining a healthy body and mind. As I continue to explore this space, I’m curious about where this path will lead, connecting science, history, and the esoteric in ways I never anticipated.

Today, I’m still learning and testing these skills, seeing what resonates and refining my practice as I go. Whether the God Seed is real or metaphorical, the journey of tuning into my intuition has already revealed layers of insight and strength. Embracing this journey feels like an invitation to understand not only myself but also the energies and mysteries that connect us all. (The original 'Chicken & egg' story!) -Ang
