EMF (Electromagnetic Field) readers are commonly used to detect the energy of spirits, which I believe appear as orbs after death. When we pass, our energy transforms into these orbs, moving through portals between worlds. A personal experience I had during a mediumship session shows how spirits manipulate temperature, often creating cold spots as they manifest. (Side note: Sometimes, a heat stamp can be noted if a spirit manifests and touches or sits on something, possibly due to the friction of energy.)

My friend and I felt the cold presence of a spirit & EMF spike, and my son and I sensed our passed cat’s energy through an EMF reading. The orbs, much like the spirits we talk to, are ever-present and connected to us.

At the Kapunda Hotel, a spirit named "Mary" guided us into another room by passing near multiple EMF devices. Spirits can influence their surroundings, and I regularly encounter them showing me temperature numbers, often 222, a number that has deep meaning for me. The Two Main Types of Ghost Experiences: Intelligent Ghosts vs. Ghost Loops

1. Intelligent Ghosts:

Intelligent ghosts are spirits believed to be conscious and aware of their surroundings. These entities can interact with the living and respond to stimuli. People who encounter intelligent ghosts often report communication attempts, such as moving objects (apports), creating sounds, or manifesting visually. They may react to questions, signals, or emotions, showing that they have a sense of awareness and presence. These spirits may be loved ones trying to connect or entities still attached to the physical world.

2. Ghost Loops (Residual Hauntings):

Ghost loops, also known as residual hauntings, are more like imprints of past events, much like a video or tape replaying over time. These ghosts are not conscious and do not interact with the living. They are simply energy recordings of events that occurred at a particular place. The ghost in a loop will typically repeat the same actions, such as walking down a hallway or performing an everyday task. Since these hauntings are not intelligent, they won’t respond to questions or make direct contact. They are often considered echoes of the past, rather than the spirit itself being present.

Spirits shouldn’t be feared; most come from a place of love and connection. However, not all communication is purely positive—Some spirits may bring up negative energy, but tools like reiki symbols can be used to open portals and help those spirits move on peacefully and respectfully. Always approach spirits with mindfulness, knowing they were once living beings.

How to Connect with Spirits

Your loved ones are with you and open to communication, but it's important to connect with care, patience, and a respectful approach. Avoid wearing perfume, as spirits may communicate through smells. Don’t be scared of odd sounds—note them down or record them, as ghostly voices (disembodied sounds) can sometimes sound harsher since it's tricky for spirits to master communication. Opening cupboards or moving objects (known as ‘apports’) is often their way of letting you know they’re there, and they generally mean no harm. By remaining open and mindful, you can make these connections while using tools like EMF meters to assist in detecting their presence.

How to Use an EMF Reader for Spirit Communication:

Turn on the EMF Reader: Ensure the device is powered on, and check the battery level before use.
Place the Device on a Stable Surface: Set the EMF reader down on a flat, stable surface, rather than waving it around. This avoids false readings caused by movement.
Let the Environment Settle: Allow the device to adjust to its surroundings for more accurate readings. Watch for spikes in electromagnetic activity, which could indicate spirit presence.
Monitor Changes: Pay attention to sudden spikes or drops in the EMF levels, especially near suspected spirit locations.
Ask Questions: You can ask the spirit to interact with the device by approaching or moving away from it to trigger changes in the EMF field.
Avoid Electronics: Keep the device away from electrical equipment, which can interfere with the readings.
